Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of machine learning solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy large-scale distributed software systems
  • Develop and maintain expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop and translate machine learning solutions into scalable production implementations
Requirements:
  • Secret clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance
  • DOD experience
  • 6+ years of hands-on Data Science or ML Engineering experience (4+ if you have a PhD)
  • 4+ years of strong programming fluency in Python
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in computer vision and natural language processing
  • Advanced degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field, or related experience
  • Understanding of data structures, data modeling, and software architectures
  • Deep expertise in machine learning frameworks and tools
  • Experience with generative AI techniques and tool deployment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to develop and translate machine learning solutions into scalable production implementations
  • Applied experience building models containing disparate data streams
  • Desire to be involved in multiple diverse and innovative projects
  • Demonstrated experience to capture and win work
  • Proposal writing experience
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience building and/or working with data pipelines and data lakes
  • Experience using scale-out cloud and/or HPC architectures for parallel programming
  • 3+ years of managerial experience
