We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Technician III to join our team at WellSpan Health. This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute individual treatment plans for clients in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Provide day-to-day oversight of all therapeutic activities, including individual, group, and family therapy.
- Assist with medication administration and recording as directed.
- Communicate relevant client progress and participate in weekly treatment team planning.
- Collaborate with other staff to provide input into treatment plans for individual clients.
- Exhibit clinically appropriate relational skills, including accurate empathy and active listening.
- Manage behavioral crises, including 1:1 observation, redirection, physical restraint, and team crisis interventions.
- Write behavioral management plans for acute patients in cooperation with treatment team recommendations.
- Complete assessments as needed.
- Assist with transportation of clients to and from the program as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline, including social work, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, or activity therapies.
- 1 year of experience in behavioral health or social science.
- Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
- Driver's License upon hire.
