Liberty Health is seeking an experienced Medication Technician to join our team. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications to residents in a safe and timely manner.
- Take orders from physicians and document medication administration.
- Order and receive medications, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform vital signs, give enemas and suppositories, and provide other nursing care as needed.
- Implement universal precautions and hazardous chemical procedures to ensure resident and staff safety.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
- Monitor resident status and report any changes to physicians, family, and administration.
Requirements:
- Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and Liberty Health's Medication Administration course.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly or at least 10 times per shift.
