We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cardiac Diagnostic Assistant to join our team at Reid Hospital & Health Care Services. As a key member of our diagnostic team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnostic Procedures: Assist physicians and registered nurses with diagnostic procedures, including ECG acquisition, Holter monitor application, removal, and scanning, as well as performance of diagnostic stress tests.
- Patient Care: Process physician's orders, record information with accuracy, and relay information to physicians and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Equipment and Supply Management: Assemble and prepare equipment and supplies for diagnostic procedures, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and coordination.
- Emergency Response: Recognize and respond to emergency situations, including initiating CPR when necessary.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required, with the ability to obtain after initial training.
- Other: Successful completion of a Basic Arrhythmia class.
