Purpose of the Position

This role represents AnovaWorks professionally by greeting patients and company representatives in a courteous, friendly, and efficient manner. The successful candidate will ensure the efficient functioning of clinical services to customers of AnovaWorks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, maintaining positive, professional relationships with customers and employers.
  • Answer telephones, transfer, and screen incoming calls appropriately.
  • Assist in coordinating services, providers, and other personnel to ensure delivery of smooth, timely patient service.
  • Schedule patient visits and testing.
  • Prepare patient charts and department forms per clinic standards.
  • Accurately obtain and enter client demographics, audiometric results, vital signs, patient history, and other data and documentation as needed into the computer system.
  • Obtain vital signs and patient history information, recording accurately in patient records.
  • Provide occupational health services, such as pulmonary function testing, hearing testing, CLIA-waived laboratory testing, and respirator fit testing.
  • Administer medication and immunizations within scope of practice and as ordered by the provider.
  • Perform sample collection for blood analysis and urinalysis.
  • Arrange for lab tests, X-rays, and other tests/procedures as ordered and notify patients of test/procedure appointments as directed.
  • Release results as directed by medical provider.
  • Clean and stock exam rooms, order medical supplies and equipment, and maintain calibration records.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of Medical Assistant course or equivalent with qualifications required for MA-C certification.
  • Previous work experience in a medical setting (desirable, not required).
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
  • Phlebotomy (desirable, not required).
Compensation

$20-$25 hourly wage.
