Job Summary

AnovaWorks PLLC is seeking a highly skilled and certified Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the effective function of our Wenatchee Clinic by assisting the reception/scheduling team, providers, and other office staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a positive, professional relationship with customers and employers.
  2. Communicate effectively with the occupational health team and develop positive, professional relationships with coworkers and managers.
  3. Consistently demonstrate professional conduct in the work environment, including confidentiality, hygiene, and interactions with fellow employees, management, patients, and company representatives.
  4. Provide occupational health services, such as drug screening, hearing testing, respirator fit testing, and cholinesterase monitoring.
  5. Collect specimens according to DOT and non-DOT rules and procedures, federal guidelines, and office protocols.
  6. Practice universal precautions and adhere to AnovaWorks' blood-borne pathogen policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work area and perform custodial duties as needed.
  8. Comply with quality assurance programs and maintain a clean, professional appearance.

Requirements

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Washington State Medical Assistant certification required.
  3. Previous work experience in a medical setting as a receptionist or equivalent.
  4. Excellent customer service skills.
  5. Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office or equivalent programs.
  6. Bilingual in Spanish (required).
