About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Prairie Gate Senior Living in Council Bluffs, IA. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are maintained at all times.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) as scheduled and assist other Certified Nursing Assistants as needed, maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
  • Monitor changes in residents' conditions and report any concerns to the appropriate staff members.
  • Transfer and assist residents with mobility using various methods, including gait belts and mechanical lifts.
  • Ensure residents are cared for with dignity and respect.
Qualifications
  • Caregiving experience is preferred, but applicants without experience will still be considered.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification is required to work in Long Term Care; if not certified, consider applying to Assisted Living.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
