About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team in our Long Term Care center. As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as scheduled and assist other Certified Nursing Assistants as needed, maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices.
  • Monitor changes in resident's condition and report any concerns to the nursing team.
  • Transfer and assist residents with mobility using various methods, including gait belts and mechanical lifts.
  • Ensure residents are cared for with dignity and respect.
Requirements
  • Caregiving experience is preferred, but applicants without experience will be considered.
  • Nursing Assistant Certification is required to work in Long Term Care. If not certified, consider applying for Assisted Living.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the Presbyterian Homes & Services mission and operating philosophies.
  • Commitment to work every other weekend and scheduled holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
