Job Opportunity: Associate Civil Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time, direct basis at our office in Haddon Heights, NJ. This role will involve working on a variety of private and public site development projects across various markets. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of tasks, including:

  • Performing due diligence to determine site development feasibility
  • Preparing site plan development drawings, ensuring compliance with municipal regulations
  • Designing and detailing facility demolition, site layout, grading, utilities, profiles, and stormwater management
  • Preparing permit applications and engineering reports
  • Coordinating with regulatory agency staff and responding to comment letters
  • Assisting with client coordination and proposal writing
  • Mentoring junior-level staff and taking on additional duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in an Engineering-oriented discipline, preferably Civil Engineering
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in Engineering, preferably with land development projects

Preferred qualifications include:

  • FE/EIT certification
  • Experience working on land development projects, particularly with stormwater management and Hydrology and Hydraulics (H&H) modeling tools
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent organizational and communication skills
