About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Regency Hospital - Minneapolis. As a COTA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual patient therapy regimens under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist (OT)
  • Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment during sessions as indicated in collaboration with an OT
  • Complete appropriate documentation according to department policies and procedures
  • Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services
Requirements
  • Must have successfully completed (or be eligible to complete) the NBCOT examinations for Occupational Therapy Assistants
  • Possess Occupational Therapy Assistant license in the state of Minnesota
  • Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
Preferred Qualifications
  • Critical care experience in a hospital setting is a plus
