Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rad Technologist PRN to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures, including radiological diagnostic procedures, operating diagnostic equipment, and preparing rooms for procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all radiographic equipment and perform all radiological procedures in accordance with department standards.
  • Identify each patient, review orders for consistency, and review each examination for technical accuracy.
  • Present completed examinations to radiologists and communicate pertinent data to responsible parties.
  • Organize patient care and set priorities by providing critical care first and implementing physician orders.
  • Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner to ensure delivery of quality care according to age-specific guidelines.
  • Adhere to all department and hospital safety procedures for patient and material handling.

Position Qualifications
  • Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) licensure.
