Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Rad Technologist PRN to join our team at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. As a Rad Technologist PRN, you will perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. You will operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate all radiographic equipment and perform all radiological procedures
  • Identify each patient, review orders for consistency, and review each examination for technical accuracy
  • Present completed examinations to radiologists and communicate pertinent data to persons responsible for patient care
  • Organize patient care and set priorities by providing critical care first and implementing physician orders
  • Adhere to all department and hospital safety procedures for patient and material handling
Requirements
  • Certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography
  • Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program
  • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience
