Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Technician to join our team at Architecture Incorporated. This individual will be responsible for modeling and developing documentation from Schematic Design through Construction Document phases.

The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, creativity, and a willingness to learn new programs and techniques. They will work independently and collaboratively with project teams to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and organize project files and drawing sheets for assigned architectural projects.
  • Assist the Project Architect in drafting floor plans, exterior building elevations, sections, and details for construction documents.
  • Coordinate project-related drawing information with Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Civil Engineers.
  • Identify and communicate problem areas to the Project Architect where conflicts in design arise.
  • Generate complete and accurate construction documents that meet the drafting design standards of Architecture Incorporated.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work on multiple projects with limited supervision in a team environment.
  • Effective time management skills to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient communication skills to interact with the design team, clients, contractors, and consultants.
  • Ability to coordinate with the entire project team, both internally and externally.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills to juggle multiple responsibilities.
  • Collaborative and self-motivated with a professional work ethic.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree or college degree in a related architectural and construction technology program from an accredited institution.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in BIM software and building construction practices.
  • Advanced Revit architecture skills and experience.
  • Knowledge of building codes and their proper application.
