**Project Support Coordinator**
The Intersect Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to project managers and teams, ensuring the smooth execution of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- **Project Coordination**: Work with project managers to define and document tasks and activities for product and system-related projects, providing project team support as coordinator of project events.
- **Resource Management**: Track and document project resource costs, helping management to project related expenditures.
- **Business Requirements**: Help document business requirements for new systems and modifications to existing systems.
- **Process Documentation**: Help document work flows and departmental procedures.
- **Reporting**: Maintain project and department reporting tools, track project issues lists.
- **Other Duties**: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Key Interactions:
- **Internal Interactions**: Interact with all facets/groups of the organization as needed, including project managers, PMO director, IT, brokerage operations, risk and compliance, finance, wealth management, advisors, marketing and communications, legal, and help desk teams.
- **External Interactions**: Interact with 3rd party product vendors.
Qualifications:
- **Project Management Principles**: Possess knowledge of project management principles, such as PMI or PMP certification.
- **Business Knowledge**: Have strong product business knowledge.
- **Communication Skills**: Possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
- **Technical Skills**: Be proficient with various software programs, including MS Suite (Word, Excel, PP, Visio, Project).
- **Education**: Hold a college degree or equivalent experience.
- **Experience**: Have a minimum of 2-3 years of business experience, preferably in financial services, and at least 1-2 years of experience working with a PMO or project team.
