Compensation:
The hourly pay rate ranges from $32.00 to $36.00.

Position Summary:
Under the supervision of Project Management, the role involves the daily operation and upkeep of the wastewater treatment facility, including all associated infrastructure, equipment, buildings, and grounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts technical operations and maintenance tasks related to the wastewater facility and its infrastructure.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance on all equipment and systems.
- Engages in wastewater sampling and laboratory monitoring in accordance with project and regulatory standards.
- Ensures that all equipment and processes are maintained and operate efficiently.
- Adheres to safety protocols and corporate policies while executing tasks.
- Available for weekend, holiday, and on-call shifts as part of a rotating schedule.
- Responds to emergencies and works additional hours as necessary to complete assignments.
- Contributes to fostering a culture of safety and engagement within the project team.
- Maintains accurate operational and maintenance documentation.
- Operates project vehicles and heavy machinery as required.
- Performs housekeeping duties across all facilities.
- Undertakes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Work Environment:
The position requires work both indoors and outdoors, exposing the employee to various weather conditions. Occasional exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and other environmental factors may occur.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.
- 2-3 years of experience in the water or wastewater sector or related fields.
- Experience in laboratory or utility operations is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in reading, writing, and verbal communication.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to interpret data from various instruments.
- Familiarity with computer applications including Windows, Office, and specialized operational software.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to implement corrective actions.
- Capability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
- Team-oriented with a strong safety mindset.
Certifications:
- Valid CA Grade IIA or higher Wastewater Treatment Operator License.
- Valid CA Driver's License.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires regular communication, frequent standing, walking, and climbing. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and distinguish colors is necessary.
