Spiritual Care Provider for Terminal Illness and Loss

Medi Home Hospice, a member of the Medical Services of America family, seeks a Part-Time / PRN Hospice Chaplain in State College, PA.
We provide direct spiritual support to patients and their families, working closely with staff, clergy, and community groups to address their spiritual concerns.
The successful candidate will participate in patient conferences, assessing and exploring the potential spiritual needs of patients and families. They will also provide bereavement follow-up services as defined in procedure.
Additionally, they will develop and maintain a resource group of clergy to whom specific aspects of spiritual care may be delegated. They will arrange for on-call availability of chaplain services and visit patients and families in their homes.
This role requires minimal after-hours work. The ideal candidate will have at least one unit of clinical pastoral education (CPE) and a graduate degree from an accredited seminary or school of theology. Previous experience as a hospital and/or hospice chaplain is preferred.
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
