Job Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As an Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of mechanical equipment service and pneumatic control systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission complex pneumatic control systems and mechanical equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner
  • Respond to basic warranty calls and provide excellent customer service
  • Communicate effectively with customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
  • Perform general building maintenance and upkeep
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and objectives

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment and systems
  • EPA Refrigeration certification a plus
  • Ability to perform general building maintenance and upkeep
  • Ability to work in an industrial environment
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently
  • Current driver's license
  • Willingness to supplement on-the-job training with training provided by Local
  • 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
