Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled HVAC Mechanic Apprentice to join our team at Johnson Controls International plc. As an HVAC Mechanic Apprentice, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and commission complex HVAC system field devices using standard configuration and commissioning tools.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with HVAC systems.
  • Respond to basic warranty calls and provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with JCI, contractors, and customers to keep them informed of job progress and issues.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with HVAC equipment and systems.
  • EPA Refrigeration certification is a plus.
  • The ability to perform general building maintenance and work in an industrial environment.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A current driver's license is required.
  • Willingness to supplement on-the-job training with training provided by Local.
  • A 2-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
