Job Description

Volkert Inc is a Top 100 design firm with a strong commitment to providing clients with creative solutions for sustainability. We are seeking an experienced Senior Property Rights Specialist to join our team in Shreveport, LA.

We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on national averages and location adjustments. This figure includes cost of living adjustments and industry standards for similar positions.

Responsibilities
  • We are looking for someone to maintain accurate records of property rights and set up electronic files for all right-of-way projects, including documentation of special conditions and preparation of easements.
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in data maintenance and quality control, including generating reports, performing peer reviews, and ensuring accuracy in external documents.
  • This role requires expertise in reviewing legal documents and ensuring proper execution and notarization, as well as maintaining document tracking systems and preparing documents for recording.
  • The successful candidate will also perform project closeout duties, including database updates, document uploads, and ensuring all missing data is entered into internal and external databases.
Requirements
  • Applicants should have experience in the Real Estate or Utility industry and possess exceptional detail-oriented skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office products, and excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • A strong understanding of real estate laws and regulations, as well as the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, is essential for this role.
