Job Title: Linguistic QA Tester

We are seeking a skilled Linguistic QA Tester to join our team at Welocalize. As a Linguistic QA Tester, you will be responsible for proofreading and editing content already localized to your native language, ensuring accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proofread and edit content for grammar, syntax, punctuation, and capitalization errors
  • Translate content from English to your native language as needed
  • Check UIs for functional issues and report bugs via an internal bug tracking system
  • Verify fixes once implemented
Requirements:
  • Native-level fluency in your native language
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience working in translation and localization
  • Tech savvy with experience testing web-based systems and applications
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between must-fix and nice-to-have issues
Working Conditions:

Austin, TX (100% onsite, no remote work)

W-2 (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)

Monday-Friday (set hours)

You must have a valid visa to work in the USA
