Job Title: Hungarian Localization QA Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Hungarian Localization QA Specialist to join our team at Welocalize. As a Localization QA Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting test cases, identifying localization bugs, and reporting them via our internal bug-tracking system. You will also verify the fixes once implemented.



The ideal candidate will possess strong linguistic skills, including native-level fluency in Hungarian and fluency in English. You will also have experience working in translation, tech savvy, and able to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have.



As a Localization QA Specialist, you will work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest quality of our localized products. You will also have the opportunity to work with diverse teams and communicate critical information effectively.



We offer a competitive hourly flat rate of $28 and a range of benefits, including accident, critical illness, and hospital indemnity insurance, telemedicine benefit, paid sick time, and employee assistance program.



Requirements:




  • Native-level fluency in Hungarian
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience working in translation
  • Tech savvy, with experience testing web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
  • Ability to prioritize linguistic issues and distinguish between a true must-fix and a nice-to-have
  • Experience working with test cases and test scripts
  • Experience with bug tracking systems
  • Ability to clearly articulate reproduction steps for a given issue and communicate critical information
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work with very diverse teams
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong team ethic


We carefully consider a wide range of compensation variables, including geographic location, job scope and complexity, skill level, experience, or industry-specific knowledge.



Job Details:


  • On-Site in North East Austin, TX
  • W-2 contract (eligible for benefits based on hours worked)
  • Monday to Friday (from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm, with one hour of unpaid lunch break). 35 paid work hours per week.
  • Hourly flat rate: $28
  • Successful candidates must have valid work authorization for the US with no need for sponsorship
