Maintenance Supervisor 3rd Shift Leader

The Maintenance Supervisor 3rd Shift position is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. As a leader, you will be responsible for managing a team of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance technicians, executing the maintenance process, and establishing a reliability focus. This position requires strong leadership, technical assistance, and training skills to drive continuous improvement and ensure a culture of safety and excellence.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement a safety culture and workplace policies.
- Build strong relationships with team members, union representatives, and management teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of work orders, including hours and completion comments.
- Track, analyze, and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as safety, asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, and schedule compliance.
- Collaborate with Maintenance Planners to scope corrective work orders.
- Manage and develop weekly schedules for shift technicians and prioritize emergency jobs.
- Evaluate team member performance and encourage continuous improvement.
- Associate degree in Engineering, Electro-Mechanical, or Business Management (desirable) or significant experience and special training.
- At least 5 years of maintenance experience in a skilled position and 2+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor/Team Leader.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facilities equipment, with the ability to read and understand prints.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment functionality.
- Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and effectively.
- Flexibility to adjust to changing schedules and adapt to new ideas and technology.
- Core competencies: Communication, Management, Human Resource Development, Upkeep, and maintenance of a facility.
- Administrative and organizational skills for ensuring seamless maintenance activities.
- Stooping, bending, standing for long periods, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
