About the Role:

The Certified Dietary Manager at Ciena Healthcare is a key member of our food service team, responsible for ensuring our guests receive high-quality, nutritious meals that meet their dietary needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs of our guests
  • Supervise kitchen operations, including procurement, sanitation, and staff management
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests' preferences and routines
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans

Requirements:

  • Certified Dietary Manager Certification or current enrollment in a certification course approved by the Dietary Managers Association
  • ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting focused on planning, preparing, and servicing regular and therapeutic diets
