  • Manage the workflow of design projects efficiently.
  • Interpret work orders to determine the optimal output methods and layout for graphics.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients on file management and proofing processes.
  • Create detailed illustrations, layouts, and graphics for production based on client specifications.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of projects for accuracy prior to final production.
  • Provide proofs for client approval as necessary.
  • Perform regular backups of digital files.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot design equipment including computers and printers.
  • Keep precise records of both electronic and physical documents.
  • Optimize material usage to minimize waste and manage inventory levels.
  • Assist in the production area as required.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Support other operational tasks as needed, including customer consultations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED is required; a higher education degree is preferred.
  • Proficient in both PC and Mac platforms, with strong skills in design and publishing software.
  • Experience in the sign or print industry related to graphic design is essential.
  • Previous experience in a service-oriented business is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects and clients.
  • Capable of working at a computer for extended periods.
  • Able to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Flexibility to perform hands-on tasks, including applying graphics to various surfaces.
  • Familiarity with light power tools is beneficial.
