About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Scrub Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile field for surgical procedures
  • Anticipate and respond to the needs of the surgical team
  • Monitor and control the environment for sterility
  • Provide medications and solutions as prescribed
  • Apply knowledge of proper positioning of the surgical patient
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Surgical Technologist program
  • BCLS Certification required
  • One year of experience as a surgical scrub technologist preferred
