Job Opportunity: Phaxis is seeking a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team as a contracted professional in a school setting.

About the Role: As a BCBA, you will be responsible for providing behavioral therapy services to students in grades K-12. This is a full-time position with regular school hours (Monday to Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavioral intervention plans for students with challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to ensure seamless integration of behavioral services.
  • Conduct assessments and progress monitoring to evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral interventions.
  • Provide training and support to school staff on behavioral strategies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
  • Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with students with autism or other developmental disabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral principles and techniques, including positive behavioral supports (PBS) and functional analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including students, teachers, and parents.
