Director of Clinical Applications

Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center (Fred Hutch) is seeking a highly skilled Director of Clinical Applications to lead the development, implementation, and support of information technology for core oncology and oncology research applications, clinical ancillary and supportive care applications, and modules across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans for clinical applications and supporting technologies in alignment with organizational priorities and initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinic and physician leadership and governance committees to facilitate the use of clinical applications and supporting technologies.
- Provide direction for the development, delivery, and support of standardized, normalized, and delivered data in clinical or business systems across the enterprise.
- Support the adult oncology and research communities in matters relating to operational and clinical process improvements that require application selection/development, acquisition, implementation, support services, and resource utilization.
- Integrate and build effective working relationships between IT teams and other areas of the organization to ensure the needs and expectations of the end-user community are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in healthcare information technology, with at least 7 years of direct management experience.
- Advanced understanding of clinical operations, including ambulatory and inpatient services.
- Demonstrated experience in best practices and leading complex and advanced application solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
- Epic Certification.
- PMP Certification.
- Program development experience.
- Oncology leadership experience.

The annual base salary range for this position is from $164,569.60 to $274,268.80 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
