Erie, Pennsylvania, United States MRG Exams Careers Full time
Disability Assessment Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

In this role, you will review medical records electronically and perform focused, in-person physical exams on each Veteran. You will then document the exam findings through a web portal.

Key attributes for success in this role include:

  • Able to analyze data from medical records and exam findings to complete questionnaires and form medical opinions.
  • Skilled in time management and able to stay on task to meet requirements.
  • Must hold a current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.
  • Proficiently use a computer.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
  • Must have a current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license.

Benefits of this role include:

  • Training and continued support provided.
  • Health Insurance options available.
  • Computer supplied.
  • Typical day: 3 to 5 patients a day.
  • Opportunity to serve the Veteran community.
  • Set schedule during normal business hours with no on-call requirements.
  • All work performed in a clinical setting.
