Job Title: Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team at Concentra. As a vital member of our patient care team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care to our patients.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for examining patients, compiling medical data, and administering diagnostic tests. They will also be responsible for developing and implementing patient management plans, recording progress notes, and assisting in the provision of continuity of care.

Responsibilities:
  • Examine patients and compile medical data
  • Administer or order diagnostic tests
  • Compile patient medical data, including health history and results of physical examination
  • Interpret diagnostic test results for deviations from normal
  • Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing, and wound care
  • Instruct and counsel patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance
  • Develop and implement patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care
  • Assists in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of occupational health care
  • Assists in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs
  • Provides excellent customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related health field from an accredited college or university
  • Active and clear license in the state of Pennsylvania
  • Graduate of an accredited PA or CRNP program of an accredited university
  • Board Certification
  • FMCSA NRCME certification - preferred or attain prior to start date
  • DEA required prior to start date
  • At least one year of practice experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or an emergency medicine preferred
