About the Role

Cortica is seeking a skilled and compassionate Marriage and Family Therapist to join its dynamic team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to work with children and families, providing exceptional clinical care and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children, utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches tailored to their needs.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure wrap-around support for families and sharing of information and ideas.
  • Participate in family care meetings with other providers and maintain documentation and communication in line with legal, ethical, and company standards.
  • Comply with clinic policies and all state, federal, and licensing board laws/requirements/regulations.
Requirements
  • A master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • A current and unrestricted license and/or certification required to practice within your clinical domain.
  • Experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
  • Knowledge of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches, including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy.
