Job Title: Primary Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Therapist to join our team at Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC. As a Primary Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing individual, group, and family therapy to clients struggling with eating disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions to clients
  • Serve as a liaison with families and outpatient providers
  • Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
  • Participate in discharge and aftercare planning
  • Provide therapeutic meal support and model a healthy relationship with food
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
  • New York state license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field
  • Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
