Job Title: Die Cutter Operator

We are seeking a skilled Die Cutter Operator to join our team at Amcor Specialty Cartons Americas LLC. As a Die Cutter Operator, you will be responsible for operating specialized machinery to produce high-quality packaging for domestic and international use.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Die Cutter machine to develop end-result printed material in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot machine operation to ensure high-quality product.
  • Prepare Die Cutter by adjusting die and register for pressure and cutting.
  • Perform make-ready tasks to produce consistent, high-quality product.
  • Oversee General Technicians working on equipment.
  • Ensure efficient and rapid make-ready, unloading, and loading.
  • Comply with cGMP, HACCP Food Safety Requirements, and Chain of Custody Program Requirements.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma (or GED).
  • Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills and mathematical skills necessary to compute percentages, weights, and measures.
Physical Demands:

This position requires prolonged periods of standing, stooping, bending, and/or reaching, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching with hands and arms, hearing, and speaking.

Frequent lifting in excess of 60 lbs. is required.

Must be able to hold, touch, feel, and manipulate with hands product and equipment in a safe manner. Manual dexterity is required.

Use of close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus as well as good eye-hand coordination.

Must be able to rotate shifts and be available to work in excess of 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week when necessary to meet customer product needs.
