Key Responsibilities:

  • Case Investigation: Investigate and vet potential new cases for technical and legal issues, ensuring that all facts are thoroughly understood.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on legal facts and regulations, and analyze evidence gathered from documents to support case development.
  • Discovery and Litigation: Conduct all phases of civil discovery, including drafting written discovery, conducting meet and confers, and preparing for and conducting depositions.
  • Document Preparation: Draft briefs, memoranda, and other legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Expert Witness Management: Identify, select, and prepare expert witnesses to support case development.

Requirements:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Experience: 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in class action and antitrust law.
  • Skills: Exceptional analytical skills, high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, superior writing and drafting skills, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
