Job Description

We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with a California Bar License and 1+ years of relevant construction defect experience to join our team. This hybrid role involves occasional work at our Berkeley office, with flexibility to work with the applicant's schedule. The Associate Attorney will work on a variety of legal matters, including research and writing, document review, preparing and responding to discovery, expert preparation and meetings, depositions, mediations, and preparation for trial and arbitration hearings.

Responsibilities

  • Research and write legal briefs and documents
  • Prepare and respond to discovery requests
  • Conduct expert preparation and meetings
  • Participate in depositions, mediations, and trial hearings
  • Communicate with clients through phone, email, and written reports

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • 1+ years of experience in Construction Defect Litigation
  • Bar membership in good standing in California
  • Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work well in a small team environment
  • Demonstrated interest in Construction and Construction Defect litigation
