Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tito's Burritos & Wings. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for assisting the General Manager in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Assist the General Manager in hiring, training, and developing hourly team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Scheduling and Staffing: Assist the General Manager in creating timely schedules and determining appropriate staffing levels to meet labor targets and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Inventory Management: Assist the General Manager in purchasing, receiving, and managing inventory to minimize waste and ensure that products are always available to meet customer demand.
  • Shift Management: Provide support to the General Manager in managing shifts, assigning tasks, and coaching team members on job duties and performance expectations.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every guest has a great experience by delivering high-quality food, providing excellent service, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Quality Control: Follow proper sanitation and cleanliness standards to ensure that food is prepared and served according to Tito's recipes and health requirements.
  • Cash Handling: Follow all cash handling procedures to minimize cash shortages and ensure that cash is deposited into the bank daily.
  • Safety and Security: Foster a safe work environment by following safety guidelines and ensuring that all team members are aware of and follow safety protocols.
  • Employee Records: Assist the General Manager in maintaining proper employee records, including documentation of employee performance, training, and disciplinary actions.
Requirements
  • Previous Supervisory Experience: Ideal candidates will have previous supervisory experience within the restaurant, retail, and/or hospitality industry.
  • Background Check and Certification: Must be willing to submit to a background check and complete food safety certification programs.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to drive guest service initiatives by motivating and leading team members.
  • Urgency and Guest Focus: Must possess a sense of urgency, enjoy fast-paced environments, and have a guest service focus.
  • Training and Compliance: Ability to successfully complete training programs and follow all guidelines and procedures set forth by Tito's, local, state, and federal employment regulations.
