Role Summary:

As a key member of Resolute Industrial, you will play a vital role in the delivery, installation, and maintenance of our rental equipment. Technicians with advanced expertise will focus on troubleshooting and repairing large-scale HVAC systems and air-cooled chillers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and fulfill customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to foster repeat business.
  • Install and set up equipment as required.
  • Connect heating units to natural gas or propane sources using temporary hoses.
  • Install flexible ductwork for temporary setups.
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Conduct initial equipment startups and perform necessary repairs.
  • Retrieve and document equipment returns from customer locations.
  • Recondition equipment according to established guidelines and complete necessary checklists.
  • Store equipment safely in the warehouse.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Advanced Responsibilities for Senior Technicians:

  • Maintain and clean chillers and large air conditioning units.
  • Gather necessary accessories from inventory for shipping.
  • Assist in loading equipment for transport.
  • Start up and troubleshoot oil-fired heating systems.
  • Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including refrigerant management.
  • Support the installation of large package HVAC rental units.

Qualifications:

  • Experience ranging from entry-level to five years is acceptable.
  • A high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • A 2-year HVAC certification or Universal Refrigeration Certificate is preferred for senior roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar software; familiarity with MRP or rental software is advantageous.
  • Must pass a DOT physical and drug screening to operate company vehicles.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) are required.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. safely.
  • Strong customer service skills, effective communication, and mechanical aptitude are essential.
  • A willingness to learn and grow in the field is expected.

Work Schedule:

This role may involve a rotating on-call schedule, requiring availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays during peak periods. Travel may also be necessary, with overtime pay applicable for additional hours worked.
