About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at GXO. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various manufacturing and packing equipment, electrical panels, and conveyor systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventive maintenance measures.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment repair, and part usage.
  • Manage and maintain a supply of spare parts inventory.
  • Ensure equipment is started properly at the beginning of each shift.
  • Perform troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, including conveyor systems.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a multi-craft technician.
  • Knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, including lighting, power distribution, drives, motors, bearings, conveyor systems, and HVAC systems.
  • Ability to read simple electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in a related field or specialized vocational technical school or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with robotic operations and maintenance.
  • Ability to work independently and troubleshoot under high-pressure situations.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to:

  • Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods on various surfaces.
  • Reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat, and kneel.
  • Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
