About the Role

As a Principal Product Manager - Technical, you will be responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for demand utilization, ensuring that shoppers discover relevant products and advertisers reach the right shoppers.

This role requires a strong technical background, business acumen, and leadership skills to drive innovation and growth in Amazon's advertising solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and execute the product vision and strategy for demand utilization
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver innovative experiences
  • Lead technical discussions and make strategic decisions related to product development
  • Collaborate with engineers to drive feature delivery and tradeoffs
  • Own and drive roadmap strategy and definition
Requirements
  • 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience
  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Experience interpreting and communicating analytics
  • Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority
  • Experience leading products in the space of performance-based advertising using machine learning methods.
