Job Overview

This exciting opportunity is available within our company's Internal Audit department, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the adequacy of our internal control structure. As Director of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for managing the Regional Internal Audit department, executing all phases of internal audit engagements, and communicating findings to stakeholders.

About You

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in internal auditing and leadership skills. Your expertise should include developing and delivering internal audit programs, as well as managing teams to achieve common goals. A bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant certifications (such as IIA) are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the Regional Internal Audit department to ensure effective execution of internal audit engagements.
  • Develop and deliver high-quality internal audit programs that meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring prompt action is taken on audit results.
  • Maintain a quality-assurance program to evaluate the operations of the internal audit function.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in internal auditing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Prior experience in a technical role, engaged in developing and delivering internal audit programs.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field can count for up to 3 years of the requirement, while an MBA or master's degree can add up to 2 years.
  • Preferred: Certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).
