Retail Sales Lead Manager

About the Role
The Sales Lead Manager is responsible for leading and motivating a high-performing sales team to achieve assigned sales and productivity goals. This includes developing and implementing effective strategies to drive sales, improving customer engagement, and enhancing the overall shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth
- Establish clear expectations and hold the sales team accountable for achieving sales targets.
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing duties, merchandise flow processes, and cash handling procedures.
- Motivate and coach the sales team to meet sales goals, develop product knowledge, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing data-driven solutions.
- Build High-Performing Teams
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, communication, and teamwork.
- Mentor and develop sales team members, providing coaching and training to enhance their skills and performance.
- Encourage open feedback and constructive criticism to drive continuous improvement.
- Cultivate Exceptional Customer Experiences
- Model and teach the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, ensuring a seamless omnichannel experience.
- Develop strong relationships with customers, building trust and loyalty through personalized service and product recommendations.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns, addressing issues promptly and professionally.
- Talent Development and Engagement
- Support and implement training programs, seminars, and workshops to enhance sales team skills and knowledge.
- Coach and mentor team members, providing feedback and guidance to drive performance improvement.
- Recognize and reward outstanding performance, fostering a culture of excellence and achievement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in retail management, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of retail management experience, preferably in a sales leadership role.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to learn and adapt to technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
