About the Role:
Penn State Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans
- Administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
Requirements:
- Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
- AHA BLS and ACLS required prior to the end of orientation
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
