Job Summary:

Under the direction of a Registered Nurse, this role contributes to the basic patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. The actual job tasks may vary depending on the unit or department assigned.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide basic patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with feeding, toileting, and ambulation
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition
  • Participate in patient education and support


Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • AHA BLS certification
