Job Overview

Jose Bravo-Farmers Insurance Agency is seeking a licensed professional to fill the role of a Commercial Insurance Sales Producer. This position involves the strategic development and acquisition of new business clientele.

Compensation includes a base salary along with a competitive commission structure and bonus potential for the right candidate.

We offer a range of insurance products, including General Liability, Business Owners Policy, Commercial Auto, Workers Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella through Farmers Insurance. Additionally, our Broker division, Kraft Lake, provides Professional Liability, Surety Bonds, Builder's Risk, Contractors General Liability, Commercial Earthquake, and various other products. Our target industries encompass restaurants, retail, manufacturing, artisan contractors, distribution, and commercial auto.

Requirements include an active Property & Casualty license and prior experience in the commercial insurance sector. A Life and Health license, as well as bilingual capabilities, are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial clients to ensure high levels of client retention and loyalty.
  • Provide ongoing support to clients as necessary.
  • Generate new business through various sales leads from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.
  • Educate clients on the commercial insurance policies that best meet their needs.
  • Establish and nurture networking relationships with business owners, CPAs, attorneys, and members of Chambers of Commerce.

Qualifications
  • Ability to multi-task, follow through, and maintain effective follow-up.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Above-average computer proficiency.
  • An active Property & Casualty license is mandatory.
  • Possession of an active Life & Health Insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in the commercial insurance field is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English, Spanish, or other languages is highly beneficial.
  • No felony convictions.
