Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Central Sterile Processing Department Leader to join our team at the University of Miami. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring effective operations of the department and developing and maintaining clinical relationships with key clinical leaders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare operations and excellent leadership skills. You will work closely with clinical leaders to ensure accurate inventory and efficient distribution of items to all hospital units.

The salary for this role is approximately $95,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and organized individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure effective operations of the department through system development, process improvement, and coordination with customer departments.
  • Develop and maintain clinical relationships with key clinical leaders in regard to supply related initiatives and inventory management.
  • Maintain an environment of collaboration between clinical and business areas.
  • Ensure accurate inventory and provide efficient distribution of items in Central Supply to all hospital units.
  • Create and exceed standards of key service dimensions.
  • Achieve and maintain financial targets in support of the business goals of the institution.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Certification in relevant specialty or field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare operations.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
