Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Custom Application Specialist to join our team at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC. As a key member of our agronomy solutions team, you will be responsible for applying herbicides and pesticides to labeled crops, operating and maintaining application equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mix and apply herbicides and pesticides to crops according to established guidelines and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain application equipment, including tractors and sprayers, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of application equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Keep accurate records of application activities, including log books and spray records.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain pesticide applicator certification and stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve business objectives and improve operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle.
  • Class A CDL required.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

As a Custom Application Specialist at Helena Agri-Enterprises, LLC, you will work in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. You will be required to work near moving equipment and mechanical parts, and may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, and electrical shock. You will be expected to lift or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
