Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments to determine the best course of treatment for patients
  • Triage patients to other clinical services, such as emergency departments or inpatient units, as needed
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Provide education and support to medical staff to improve the care of behavioral health patients
  • Document assessments and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or related field, with licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in crisis intervention, psychiatric assessment, and evaluation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
