About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Patient Care Tech to join our team at Samaritan Hospital. As a Patient Care Tech, you will work under the supervision of a registered nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, positioning, ambulation, and feeding.
- Take vital signs and collect specimens.
- Transfer patients, manage supplies, and maintain accurate patient care documentation.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods.
- Completion of 1 week SPHP PCT training program and unit-specific competencies.
- A competitive salary range of $17.25 - $25.00 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education.
