Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Care unit, including assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and evaluating patient progress.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including communicating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, including teaching them about their condition, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a cardiac care setting.
