Job Summary:

The Nurse Care Manager at Baptist Health Care is responsible for providing individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients through the use of the nursing process and primary nursing principles. This role involves working under general supervision, managing various shifts, and being subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required. The Nurse Care Manager must remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide assistance to physicians in all patient-related activities, including continuous EKG monitoring, medications, IVs, oxygen therapy, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care through the use of the nursing process and primary nursing principles.

Work under general supervision, managing various shifts, and being subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required.

Remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

Qualifications:

ASN degree or Nursing Diploma required.

One year clinical nursing experience is required.

Current Florida State RN licensure required. BLS and ACLS through American Heart Association is required. NIH within 90 days of employment/transfer.

RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) or Certification with NASPE (National Society Pacing Electrophysiology) or CCRN or CNOR or CEN is required within 18 months of hire/transfer.
