Salary:$ 120,000 - 200,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, plus annual performance bonus, regular salary increases, and paid time off.

Job Description:As a Comprehensive Women's Primary Care Physician at the Birmingham VA Health System, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care to women's health patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assess, diagnose, and manage the acute and chronic conditions of assigned patients, utilizing your advanced skills and competencies in women's health care. You will also maintain an active role in the assigned multidisciplinary health care team, promoting preventive health measures and collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
  • A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited school.
  • Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency training approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
